His name was Carlo Romano, and he spoke perfect English. My Italian is a bit limited, so this was a massive plus for me as an American. Carlo is one of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He really made sure we were all comfortable during the ride, and also gave us a lot of recommendations on things to do in Italy.
